Actors looking to light up onscreen these days are in for some disappointment as movie studios appear to be working harder to enforce their longtime bans on promoting tobacco consumption in films.

Actor Jim Caviezel, who burst on the Hollywood scene in 2004 with his iconic role as Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ,” is an outspoken Catholic who openly discusses his faith and devotion to God.

Canadian publication, North Shore News, recently interviewed Michelle Morgan, who plays Lou on the family TV series, “Heartland.” Morgan expressed her gratitude for the show’s multigenerational appeal. According to the Open Doors World Watch List report, North Korea was ranked number one as the worse place in terms of Christian persecution, but it’s the only non-Muslim country in the top 10. The second to ninth spots are occupied by countries where Islam is the dominant religion.
