Christian band DC Talk is reportedly gearing up for a small reunion tour — news that comes on the heels of two reunion cruises that included performances from all of the former band members. Singer Michael Tait revealed the news in a recent interview with 98.5 KTIS.
“I’ve got news for you. We just finished the DC Talk cruise yesterday, Pete and I. TobyMac performed, DC Talk, K-Max, Newsboys,” he said. “But next year, DC Talk will be doing a land cruise. We’ll be doing tour dates in the states.”

Tait said that these dates would be “very few,” but that the band would reportedly do them each year in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
DC Talk (which stands for “decent Christian talk”) was founded back in the late 1980s when members Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait and Kevin Max met while attending Liberty University.
The band quickly blew up, but in the year 2000 they decided to part ways to pursue solo careers. It didn’t take long for Toby McKeehan — known as TobyMac — to become Christian music’s most popular act.
Tait went on to become the frontman of the Newsboys, and Max has also been busy working in music and entertainment.

DC Talk recently came back together for the “Jesus Freak Cruise,” with the latest voyage unfolding from June 10-14, and it now seems fans will have a bigger chance to see McKeehan, Tait and Max back together sometime soon. Stay tuned to the dc Talk Facebook page for more.
